Brentwood Home Page news reports Each year, the Brentwood Family YMCA nurtures the potential of more than 16,000 men, women and children, giving them the tools and support they need to learn, grow and thrive. And on Saturday, the community will have a chance to give back to the Y by taking part in a Zumbathon benefitting the center’s Annual Giving Campaign.
Zumba is by far one of the most popular group fitness offerings at the YMCA. The now world-famous dance fitness class blends popular Latin rhythms with calorie-burning dance moves for a unique workout experience that’s enjoyed by millions of people across the globe. On Saturday, , Zumba enthusiasts can dance till their heart’s content—or at least until the Zumbathon ends—all for a good cause.
The 5 to 7 p.m. event is open to all; Y membership is not required. The only requirements are a $10 ticket purchase benefitting the Y’s Annual Giving Campaign and a completed registration form.
The Y will also offer on-site childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.
