Stores, designers show off 'Tablescapes' Brentwood Home Page news reports Beautiful tablescapes designed by local business and garden clubs were the centerpiece of the Brentwood Womans Club’s holiday fundraiser held earlier this month at the Brentwood Country Club. Dillard’s of Cool Spring Galleria, Snooty Fox of Brentwood, Centered Staging, and Brentwood Garden Club shared new ideas for decorating Christmas and New Year’s tables.
The Dec. 6 event also featured the Brentwood High School choral group which presented a condensed version of their Christmas cantata, under the direction of new BHS choir director, Natalie Pratt, a BHS alum.
Bridges of Williamson County was the luncheon’s beneficiary and club members adopted a family that has been affected by domestic violence. Bridges director Linda Jackson spoke about domestic violence within our own community. The club has chosen domestic violence and its prevention for its special focus this club year.
The club, a member of the Greater Federation of Womans Clubs, welcomes new members who want to make a difference in the community. Contact, Mary Phillips, map10@bellsouth.net or visit the club’s website at www.bwctn.com for additional information.
