Celebrating 11 years, Wine Down Main Street event presented by Lipman will take place Friday, Nov. 4, in Franklin from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
The Downtown Franklin Merchants will again host thousands of consumers during the unique wine tasting event.
The layout provides a more condensed venue and easier accessibility for attendees to visit all the participating merchant locations, organizers said. The event will still be focused on Main Street, but will run from 5th Avenue to the Square at 3rd Avenue and include shops along the side streets of 4th Avenue and 3rd Avenue.
The participating merchant list is included on the event website www.winedownmainstreet.com, where event attendees can link to the merchant websites. The 2011 merchant list is as follows:

All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Williamson County. General Admission tickets for the main event are $75 in advance until Oct. 21 and will go up to $85 per person on Oct. 22. Tickets include all wine, beer and food tastings.

Since 2001, Wine Down Main Street has grossed more than $1 million for the Williamson County Boys & Girls Club Units and has sold out every year. At last year’s 10th anniversary event, people came from 22 states and three foreign countries.
