| 'Whistlin' Dixie' author next up for Womans Club |

Membership drive under way for service organization Brentwood Home Page news reports Best-selling author Lisa Patton, whose novels, Whistlin'Dixie in a Nor'Easter and Yankee Doodle Dixie, have been described as "Southern to the core and funny to the bone, a heaping helping of girl power delivering feel-good moments and inspiring fantasies of making it on your own” will speak to the Brentwood Womans Club next month and all local women are invited.
The club meets at the 11 a.m. Feb. 7 at the Brentwood Library .
A Memphis native, Patton is also an events speaker, a walking tour guide in Franklin, and mom to two sons and her little Havanese puppy named Rosie. She is currently working on two more novels for the Whistlin' Dixie series.
