Updated 9:30 p.m. Wednesday Brentwood Home Page news reports Brentwood and the entire Middle Tennessee area is under a tornado watch until 4 a.m. Thursday. The Williamson County Emergency Management Agency updated its Situational Outlook at 8:37 p.m. Earlier today, the local EMA announced that a significant severe weather outbreak is expected overnight.
A cold front will move through Thursday and could bring a few more severe storms, though they will mainly be to our east. Rain will be locally heavy, from 1 to 2 inches is possible.
Severe Weather Threat means that severe storms including tornadoes and damaging winds are likely, with the greatest tornado threat west of I-65. Long track/strong tornadoes are possible and there is a significant threat of damaging winds. |
