Holiday music will be performed in Nolensville on Thursday, Sunday

Brentwood Home Page news reports
The Williamson County Beginner Reading Orchestra invites county residents to attend festivities at two holiday concerts in Nolensville at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Mama Java and at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Nolensville First Baptist Church.

First Baptist invited the orchestra to perform in conjunction with the church's Christmas program.

The elementary school-age students, who range from 8 to 11 years old, have worked very hard this semester and are eager to demonstrate all they have been learning.  Residents can come listen to some holiday music and enjoy an evening out with the family.

This beginner strings program for elementary school-age students is in its second year and has 22 enrolled:  10 in the first-year class and 12 in the second-year class.

Nolensville First United Methodist Church generously sponsored the program last year as it was rolled out to the Nolensville community and surrounding areas.  This year the classes are fully sponsored by Nolensville First Baptist Church.

Most of these budding violin, viola, cello, and bass players will roll right into the exceptional strings program at Sunset Middle school which is under the direction of Craig Madole.
