In an effort to better communicate with parents, students, staff and friends of Williamson County Schools, the central office has expanded its reach into the world of social media. A new Williamson County Schools Facebook page is now live.

"We are so excited to have yet another communication tool to help keep our stakeholders informed about our district," said Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney.

When you agree to “like” Williamson County Schools on Facebook, you’ll have easy access to up-to-date information about the school district, including up-to-date news and information, such as closings, early dismissals, photo galleries of recent district events and more.

In addition, by following us on Twitter @WCSedu you’ll receive immediate updates on school district information and events.

“We invite you to ‘like’ Williamson County Schools on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter,” WCS spokesperson Carol Birdsong stated. “We also invite you to encourage your family and friends to ‘like’ and ‘follow’ us. 

“We promise the information we post and tweet will be relative and informative, and will help you to gain a better understanding of the important initiatives of Williamson County Schools.”
