Brentwood Home Page news reports Brentwood Police detectives have made an arrest in the Aug. 18, armed robbery at 115 Penn Warren Drive near the corner of Maryland Way.
Willie L. Hughes, 36, was taken into custody earlier this morning and is currently being held at the Williamson County Jail on a $60,000 bond, according to BPD Capt. Tommy Walsh.
Hughes, of 600 Whispering Hills in Nashville, was charged with aggravated robbery and theft over $500. He is accused of robbing a woman at knifepoint while she was sitting at an outdoor table Thursday morning in the Maryland Farms office park.
A suspect approached the woman on foot, displayed a knife and demanded her purse. She gave him her purse and the iPod she was using, then he fled to the nearby Baymont Inn parking lot and left in a gray, older-model four-door SUV.
Walsh said the Brentwood Police Department was thankful for assistance from the Metro-Nashville Police Department in the investigation and apprehension of the suspect.

VERY GOOD police work - hope this guy gets a long prison term. The victim will never be the same - she'll never forget it. Thanks again to Brentwood and Metro police.
