Brentwood Home Page news reports Brentwood-based Tractor Supply Company, the nation’s largest retail farm and ranch store chain, on Monday announced two management promotions. Alexander L. Stanton has been appointed as senior vice president, supply chain, and Christine E. Skold has been appointed as vice president, investor relations, strategy and “Tractor Value System.”
In the his new role, Stanton will be responsible for logistics, transportation, distribution centers, inventory management and pricing. Stanton joined Tractor Supply Company in April 2006 as vice president, finance and was later promoted to senior vice president, finance & strategy. Stanton will report directly to Gregory Sandfort, president and chief merchandising officer.
Skold will assume the investor relations and strategic planning functions previously held by Stanton. She will retain management responsibilities for TVS, the company's continuous improvement program based on LEAN principles. Skold joined Tractor Supply Company in September 2002 and has held prior leadership roles in accounting, internal audit and TVS. In her new role, Skold will continue to report to Anthony Crudele, chief financial officer.
