Hometown builder gives back by way of music
For over 18 years, Tom Ford has specialized in turning homeowners’ dreams into reality. A second-generation builder, Tom started working alongside his father Jim Ford as soon as he could pitch in doing anything needed.
Today the 37-year-old Brentwood native has made a name for himself, both as a custom home builder and a renovator and remodeling expert. He’s earned the respect of his peers as a member of the State and Local Board Of Directors and By Laws Committee Chairman for the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee.
Ford will show his commitment to his home town this summer as the presenting sponsor of the city’s Summer Concert Series in Crockett Park. “To us it’s a family thing, and one of the best ways to celebrate the season in Brentwood. The people of Brentwood have been wonderful to us and it’s a way we can give back.”
Tom Ford Construction, LLC is bonded and licensed and guarantees quality, competitive pricing and, most importantly, timely results. “Ultimately, the goal of every home we work on, whether from the ground up or a remodel, is to create a residence that encompasses high-quality craftsmanship and is appropriate to its settings while at the same time being extremely functional and cost effective,” Ford said.
Ford is a hands-on builder who provides one-on-one attention through the entire process. “To ensure our clients' needs are satisfied, we constantly invite our clients to provide input during the construction process. After all it’s our job to make our clients' dream a reality.”
He does that with the help of subcontractors he knows and trusts. In fact several of them are also second and third generation operations.
Something that sets Ford apart from his contemporaries is that he can build you a home or he can provide you a completely constructed, designed and furnished home – right down to the big-screen TV and flower arrangements. “A lot of people don’t want to do anything,” he said.
Ford knows how much work his company can handle at a time. “We will limit the number of jobs we accept in order to give every one the attention it deserves.”
