Brentwood Home Page news reports
If you are looking for some fun this Friday, January 8, you might want to catch one of the three Brentwood High School, Ravenwood High School and Brentwood Academy home basketball games.
Brentwood’s Bruins (8-5-0) will be hosting Independence High School’s Eagles (7-8-0). Brentwood recently suffered two of their losses at the Smyrna Christmas Tournament with a much depleted team. However, BHS ended the tournament on a good note, defeating Smyrna 56-40. The Lady Bruins (6-5-0) will kick off the evening at 6 p.m. followed by the boys’ game at 7:30. The Lady Bruins stand a good chance for a win as they take on an the Lady Eagles (3-11-0).
Coach Patrick Whitlock’s Ravenwood Raptors (9-6-0), who played away at Oakland on Tuesday night, will be hosting Hillsboro High School (6-5-0) on their home court. The RHS girls team defeated Oakland High School 55-51 and meets the HHS girls (4-4-0) at 6 pm. Hillsboro comes to RHS just having defeated Franklin High School on Tuesday night with boys and girls winning. HHS also defeated Brentwood Academy mid-December but lost to FRHS on Dec. 30.
Brentwood Academy (2-4-0) hosts Father Ryan High School (8-5-0) Friday night at home. This could prove to be a tough game for BA as Father Ryan took out both Hillsboro and Franklin High School in December. The Father Ryan girls team (11-3-0) should prove a tough match for the Lady Eagles (6-6-0).
So get your game on Brentwood schools and we will be watching.
