BA teams win big over Pope John Paul II

In Tuesday night basketball action, Brentwood Academy's boys and girls teams both scored big wins over Pope John Paul II. The boys won 53-39, while the girls were victorious with a 48-31 score. Brentwood Home Page will have complete coverage of both games early Wednesday.

In other action, Brentwood High 's boys beat Independence 47-41 while the Lady Bruins beat the Lady Eagles 48-26. Ravenwood's boys lost a close one to Hillsboro, 58-53, but the girls won a victory, beating the Lady Burros 51-39.
This week is full of great games, matches and meets.

Coming up, Ravenwood will host Centennial High School on Friday. The girls’ games are at 6:30 p.m. with the boys immediately after.

Brentwood High School’s Bruins and Lady Bruins will play at home Friday against the Hillsboro High School Burros.  The girls will being play at 6 p.m. followed by the boys game at 7:30 p.m.

And at BA, the Eagles will play again at home against McCallie Saturday at 6 p.m.  while the Lady Eagles' will host Girls Preparatory School at 4:30 p.m.

Check back Wednesday for scores from Tuesday night's Brentwood High hockey match against MBA, results from the BHS’ wrestling team's meet with Independence, and the Franklin and Ravenwood wrestling meet at Centennial High School.
 
In pool action, BHS and RHS students will compete in the 2010 Mid-State Regional Championship Swimming and Diving Meet hosted by Excel Aquatics this weekend.  The diving meet will take place this Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, the swim begins at noon at the Centennial Sportplex in Nashville.
