No matter how you feel about it, the holiday shopping and entertaining season has arrived. And Brentwood shoppers have several opportunities in town and close by to take care of everyone on their lists.

The Nashville Symphony is making holiday gift giving easy and affordable for music fans this season.  The Symphony has introduced a new gift card and just opened a holiday kiosk at The Mall at Green Hills. there will also be a Nashville Symphony booth at Christmas Village, running Nov. 1-13 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.

Nashville Symphony gift cards can be redeemed for concert tickets, food and beverages at Schermerhorn Symphony Center’s restaurant and café, or items in the Symphony Store. The gift cards are available at the Schermerhorn box office , the Green Hills kiosk and Christmas Village.

 In addition to gift cards, the Green Hills kiosk will offer concert tickets, Symphony themed gifts, holiday ornaments and CDs.

“The Nashville Symphony’s mission is to make music accessible to everyone, and we wanted to make giving the gift of music easy, affordable and fun. In that holiday spirit, the Symphony will be extending special offers and discounts to shoppers at Christmas Village,”   senior director of marketing Ronda Helton says.

Brentwood Home Page is launching its 2011 Holiday and Entertaining Guide, which will be packed with gift-giving and entertaining ideas and advice from local experts. New stories will be added throughout the season.
