Brentwood Home Page news reports Detectives today continue to review evidence and witness accounts from a weekend robbery outside of the Cool Springs Galleria in which the victim was struck in the head by a knife.
Just after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon, Franklin police officers were summoned to the upper level Sears parking area where they found good Samaritans tending to the 53-year-old man who had been struck in the head by an assailant.
The suspect reportedly approached the victim as he was on his way into the mall and demanded money. After the victim complied, the suspect repeatedly struck him in the head with a large knife before fleeing.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-feet tall, weighing 190-200 pounds. The getaway vehicle, driven by a second man may be a sliver or white Chevrolet 4-door.
