Cost: $90

Registration ends when each camp is full. Camp instructors are all former Tennessee Titans cheerleaders with extensive backgrounds in cheer and dance. The camps are open to girls in grades K-8 with skills levels from beginner to experienced. Beneficial to all girls interested in trying out for cheerleading or dance teams, these camps include cheer and dance techniques, choreography, leaps and jumps, tricks, games and more.

Youth Football Camp (Non-Contact)

Come in for a fun time using clay and make animals, dragons and/or people. This colored clay is formed and baked in an oven for fast results.

We will create everything we need to be a King and Queen. We will design robes, crowns, jewelry, castle, family crest, and of course a dragon.

We are going Buggy! Come join the fun making all kinds of bugs using our imagination out of a variety of crafting materials.

Build up your child’s self-confidence by giving him/her the gift of creating through drawing. Students will be instructed on basic drawing techniques such as shading and perspective by sketching animals, trees, fruit, flowers and still life.

Come explore our natural world and capture the beauty through art work. Students will take nature walks to sketch the outdoors and create paintings and sculptures based on their observations outside. Students will use acrylic paints, so wear old clothes.

 

Recycle It

With recycled items we will create a Junkasaurus, bottle beings and juice box dolls. So join the fun and recycle today.

What kind of Super Hero do you want to be? Students will make a cape, mask, belt and a flag just to name a few. When all is done we will create our own Super Hero Club.

 

Monday, June 14-Thursday, June 17, 1:30-4 p.m.  

8 years and up

Students will use a variety of wires to create wire sculptures. They will learn by following a line as well as free form manipulation. Young artists will be encouraged to be as innovative and spontaneous or as precision oriented as they wish to be — just whatever suits their nature. Subject matter may be from horses to flowers, from window scenes to airplanes, and on to totally abstract modernism. Completed projects may be free standing sculpture, wall hangings and mobiles.

 

June 14-17 or June 21-24, 2-4 p.m. 

10-13 years

*Students need to bring in a 24” x 30” stretch canvas or 24” x 24”

Create your own piece of art. Students will learn basic painting techniques, some useful tricks and how to create amazing fun art without knowing how to draw.

In this camp we are off to the beach. We will need sunglasses and a hat and beach bag so we can have fun at the beach. We will also make a sandcastle and colored sand creations.

Art Rocks combines fun music and energetic art for a creative adventure. Campers will make musical instruments, design a poster promoting a concert, as well as a unique label for a new CD. Artists will create their own rock art, design mystifying paintings to music and try their hand at melodic action painting.

They will explore sand, sculpture, puppetry, paper construction and lots more using their very own Abrakadoodle Pirate Kit. At the end of camp students take home the rest of their art materials for added fun at home. Kampers will need to bring a snack and drink each day.

A camp designed for kids who have never knitted before or those who have some basic skills. Students will learn the basics of choosing yarn, needles, learning to read a pattern, binding off, and finishing a project.

If you’ve ever dreamed of being a super sleuth, a super hero or heroine, race car driver, architect or space explorer, this is the Abrakadoodle camp for you. Learn about fingerprinting, make your own special fingerprint art, photo illustration, you create and race your own race car, design a city for the future, explore outer space while learning about the Hubble Telescope.

Learn the fine art of printmaking and come prepared to get messy! This class will explore a wide variety of ways to create prints. Students will learn how to use different printmaking tools and to use everyday objects to create beautiful works of art. This class is for all levels and techniques are easy to understand.
