Brentwood Academy - Jessica Jestings
Activities for Brentwood Academy senior Jessica Jestings include swim team, cross country, FCA, National Honor Society, theater tech crew and an admissions ambassador for her school. Outside of school Jessica sings in the Sonshine choir at Brentwood United Methodist Church.
She is proud of her school and “likes that the teachers are all willing to help us learn and be successful.”
“Jessica is a well rounded young lady," principal Paul Competen said. "She contributes to so many areas of our school and her community but never seeks the spotlight. She is also a great role model for our younger students.”
Jessica is a “Big Sister” at BA for two years, where she mentors two girls helping them transition to the school. She also gives tours on admissions day to share why new students would want to attend BA.
College plans are under way, and Vanderbilt tops the list for Jessica. With hopes of studying engineering or business, Jessica says that her academic strengths are in math and science as she calls herself "a logical thinker."
Her parents are Joni and Lee Jestings.

Brentwood High School - Annabel Greenburg
Annabel Greenburg, a freshman at Brentwood High, was nominated for student of the week for the priority that she has show in her role on SCC council. Annabel volunteers with STARS and has assisted with the bake sales to raise money for the organization.
New to Brentwood High and the community, Annabel has fit right into her new school and has impacted those around her in a short period of time. Asked how she is enjoying high school Annabel smiles “Love high school. Students have freedom to be themselves, and everyone is really nice here.”
"Annabel has an extraordinary spirit and is willing to help others,” said Janet Wulff, ninth-grade guidance counselor.
In addition to her volunteer work at school, Annabel is involved with a nonprofit called Circle of Women, serving girls in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The organization works to build schools and help with transportation for the girls, giving them a safe place to become educated. Annabel raised $2,000 last year and hopes to exceed this amount in the future.
Her parents are David and Lauri Greenberg.

Ravenwood High School - Audrey Sanderson
Ravenwood sophomore Audrey Sanderson was nominated for her assistance in the counseling department at school. She regularly gives tours to new students and always does so with a smile.
“Audrey has helped us out regularly in the Counseling Department and is an enthusiastic member of our club to help new students. She’s great,” teacher Kristen Cherry said.
Principal Leigh Webb describes Audrey by saying “Audrey is an outstanding young lady with a big heart.”
Something else that this young lady does with heart is play soccer. Audrey plays on three travel teams that includes an Olympic development team. Because she is training to possibly be on an Olympic team, Audrey is ineligible to play for the school.
Volunteering at the Humane Society is something else that Audrey enjoys doing.
To Audrey, “Here at RHS people are nice and accepting.” College plans include playing soccer for a Southeastern Conference school.
Proud parents are Kim and Brian Sanderson.
