Sportsman's Lodge brings you the “Student of the Week” which will highlight accomplishments by the city’s outstanding high school students. Sportsman's Lodge will provide each honored student with a $15 gift card to use at their family restaurant.
Each week, one student from each high school will be chosen by their principal to be featured for achievements including citizenship, volunteerism, leadership, academics, and much more.

Brentwood Academy - Sarah Panner
BA senior Sarah Panner is a member of Young Life, Fellowship Christian Athletes and the golf team at school. She has volunteered for the Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Christmas Child, and is a Big Sister.
Sarah attended Brentwood Academy in middle school and then moved out of state. The school administration and teachers were glad that Sarah could return to BA for her junior and senior years since she is such a valuable member of the student body.
“Sarah is an extremely capable and responsible young lady, and she is mature beyond her years. She attends our school with considerable sacrifice, and she is thriving in a number of areas,” said Paul Compton, principal of the Upper School at BA.
Sarah has been accepted to Auburn University, but her dream school is Georgia and she is waiting anxiously to hear if she has been accepted.
Her parents are Rich Panner and Abby Gillis.

Brentwood High School - Casey Flow
Casey Flow is nominated for always smiling, being enthusiastic and "already involved" as a freshman at Brentwood.
“Casey is a delightful teenager to have in class. She always comes in with a big smile and a positive attitude, and she is very willing to help others,” Shari Bell said.
Casey is a member of the lacrosse team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and STARS. Outside of school Casey is an active member of Harpeth Hills Youth Group.
While in high school Casey plans to become involved as much as she can. “I love making friends. I’m going to keep my grades up and prepare for college,” she said.
Casey’s favorite class is English and Ms. Mounts is a great teacher, she said.
Her parents are David and Lisa Flow.

Ravenwood High School - Byron Glover
RHS senior Byron Glover is a leader at school, serving as as President of the English Honor Society, VP and PR for DECA, and treasurer for the Habitat for Humanity Club. He also is a member of the National Honor Society.
“He has always been motivated to achieve at an extremely high level in all of his endeavors," said Reggie Mason, assistant principal at Ravenwood. "Byron’s many strengths include a great work ethic, an optimistic attitude, and a personal commitment to achieving personal goals. I am always amazed by his willingness to help others. Bryon is a true example of an exemplary RHS student.”
Byron plans to attend Belmont University and study in the business entrepreneurship program or major in accounting.
“He is such a blessing to have in class. He excels in academics so much and is very eager to learn," said Katherine Cain, one of Byron’s teachers. "He is highly motivated to do the best work and holds himself accountable to attain those high standards.”
His parents are Byron and Jacquie Glover.
