Brentwood Academy - Wrenne Bartlett
Wrenne Bartlett is a senior at Brentwood Academy. The daughter of Steve and Mary Lee Bartlett, she is an active member of her school. Wrenne attended Girls State, is yearbook editor, participates in Youth in Government and is a wrestling cheerleader.
She also is in National Honor Society and Young Life and is an active member at her church. In addition, Wrenne is a big sister at BA, mentoring younger students.
“She does so many things, and she does them very well," said Paul Compten, principal of the Upper School at BA. "It seems that she touches every part of school life in a positive way. She certainly makes Brentwood Academy a better place."
Wrenne has applied to six universities and her top two picks include the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She will find out in January if she has been accepted.
At college Wrenne will possibly study journalism.
Wrenne loves “how much teachers put into you at BA. They take the time to work with you and make you the best.”

Brentwood High School - Emma Williams
Emma Williams, a senior at BHS, is nominated for being an all-around great student. She is a member of the track team and participates in the triple jump event during the spring season. In addition to her athletic ability, Emma takes all honors or AP classes at school.
Her parents are Nannette and Jim Williams.
“Emma’s committed to being a model student-athlete. She works hard to make good grades in her honors and upper level classes and to perform well on the BHS track team," Principal Kate Burgin said. "She always has a positive attitude and is a joy to work with.”
With plans to attend Old Miss, Emma would like to pursue a career in exercise science or possibly psychology. Her favorite class at Brentwood is AP Psychology. What Emma likes best about her four years at BHS is “People are nice and I really like my school.”
