Dear Brentwood Home Page,
We would like to thank you for all the love, support and kindness shown to us during our process of getting our son, SPC Andrew Wilson, home. The outpouring of patriotism we saw at his homecoming was humbling. We still cannot believe how many people came out and lined the streets of Brentwood! It was such a spectacular sight!
We would like to personally thank Police Chief, Ricky Watson. He was the key player in all areas of making sure that Andrew would have a comfortable and celebrated stay at home. We will forever be grateful for all he did for our family in making this an easy transition for our Wounded Warrior and for helping guide us through construction and logistics.... and for closing the streets down for the unexpected turnout of people! The entire Brentwood Police Department did such a fabulous job.
We would also like to thank Brentwood Academy for their continued support, Oak Hill School, Becky Gregory and Becky Ross for all those beautiful ribbons!, We had a wonderful construction team of Terry Holleman, The Lee Company, Brentwood Builders-Tyke Johnson, Homelift, Cates Construction, Restore-One, Marie-Jo Bouffard; that all were able to meet a very short deadline with ease!
Most importantly, thank you to our community of Brentwood. We cannot begin to tell you what an awe-inspiring moment it was to be driven down our streets of Brentwood and see the THOUSANDS of supporters welcoming Andrew back home. We are forever proud to be a part of such a great town.
Happy New Year to All!
