The victim in Monday’s shooting at the Extended Stay America Hotel is now in good condition and is expected to be released from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the next couple of days, Brentwood Police Department spokesman Capt. Tommy Walsh said today.

Justine K. Compton, 20, of Phoenix, Ariz. has been identified as the victim.

This incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.

At 4:23 a.m. Monday, Brentwood Police Dispatch received a 911 call from the hotel, located at 9020 Church Street. The female caller reported that she had been shot.

Upon arrival responding officers located Compton, who had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest area. She was transported by Williamson County EMS to Vanderbilt University where she was listed in serious condition.
