Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell signs Summer and the City, the sequel to The Carrie Diaries at 1 p.m. Sunday at Barnes & Noble bookstore in Cool Springs.

Tickets are required for this event and can be picked up Sunday with the purchase of the book.

The new book, which tells how Carrie Bradshaw meets Samantha and Miranda, brings surprising revelations as Carrie learns to navigate her way around the Big Apple.
