CRIME REPORT: Jewelry theft; Shoplifters arrested

A jewelry theft from a Midway Circle home leads this week’s Brentwood Crime Report which contains only three items.
In the jewelry case, the victim discovered that jewelry was missing from her master bedroom on Jan. 27. No suspects are listed.
Two suspects were arrested on Jan. 31 at 7:30 p.m. for taking a Kindle Fire from Best Buy on Galleria Boulevard.

CRIME REPORT: Shoplifter attempts to steal meat from Publix

A suspect attempted to shoplift meat from the Publix grocery in Maryland Farms area, while alcohol and iPods were items taken in two other shoplifting incidents, according to the weekly crime report. Money was also stolen from vending machines in another general theft, and there was a false report of armed robbery listed.

A pre-parole hearing for Garrett Bullock took place at the Williamson County Jail this morning. It ended with the administrator stating she would recommend to the state parole board that Bullock continue to serve his full three-year sentence received after he pled guilty to two counts of vehicular assault, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon in a Brentwood traffic collision that left a Brentwood mother paralyzed. Read More >>

A quick-change artist has been targeting regional Wendy’s restaurants and the “Brentwood” restaurant, just north of the city limits on Franklin Road Circle is among the victims. The suspect most recently hit up two Franklin Wendy’s locations.

Brentwood and Franklin police investigators working on separate indecent exposure incidents compared notes and realized they were likely looking for the same person. That collaboration resulted in the Tuesday arrest of a City of Franklin Parks Department employee on two counts of indecent exposure and one count of stalking in Franklin, and an additional count of indecent exposure in Brentwood’s case. Read More >>
