Fans mad about Madden meet the man himself

Shoes sent women of all ages to Dillards CoolSprings Galleria on Saturday. However, not just any shoes. Steve Madden shoes were showcased and Steve Madden himself held a meet and greet with the hundreds of fans who lined up to get an autograph and photo with the shoe mogul.

Special guest and MTV host Julissa Bermudez, known for hosting Jersey Shore Afterhours and Reunion Host, got the crowd fired up with the help of the DJ duo BeNt TyRe. Julissa shared that she was “so excited to be in Nashville.

“I’ve never been here before but the energy is amazing and it is thrilling to be the guest host,” she said.

This was Madden’s first visit to Nashville, which included his first “Honky Tonk” visit and he loved it, he said. “Love the Nashville girls and great energy and love from everyone.”

Brentwood ladies showed him the love right back as they wore his shoes, had him autograph their shoes and, of course, bought his shoes. Then there were the lucky ladies who won a pair. Brentwood’s Patience Adegorke was the first winner and was so excited she couldn‘t wait to put her new shoes on for the camera and show them off.

If you are reading this and haven’t a clue who Steve Madden is, he’s a shoe designer and marketer recognized around the world. The thick chunky heel became his signature and his ’70s-inspired rock star designs have been giving women a way to express their own individual style for 20 years. While the label is expanding to include apparel and other accessories, Madden will always be known as the man who makes shoes that women love.

The great thing about Madden is that he knows and wants all women to wear his shoes. He has several lines that range in price from high-end exclusive to his less expensive Madden Girl brand.

One Madden fan got almost as much attention as the designer himself. Nancy Jones, accompanied by her husband, country legend George, made a special trip to meet Madden. Fans young and old were thrilled with this special surprise visit.
