Robert “Bob” Masters Taylor, age 69 of Brentwood, died September 21, 2011. An employee of Vanderbilt Medical Center since 1985, he was previously employed with the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by parents, Martin Gibson “Gip” and Catherine Bowman Taylor. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Betty D. Ingles Taylor; daughters, Dr. Beth and husband Milton Johnson and Sarah Taylor; brother, M.G. “Buck” and wife Rebecca Taylor; grandchildren, Matthew and Hallie Johnson.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Cowperthwaite officiating. Memorials may be made to the Lance Armstrong Cancer Foundation at www.livestrong.org or to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be 6:30-8PM Friday and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
