The honors continue pouring in for Brentwood Academy senior lineman Graham Shuler, who was named All-American by Rivals.com on Wednesday.

Shuler, committed to play at the Pac-12's Stanford University, was selected as one of the Top 5 high school offensive linemen in the nation by the recruiting website. He found out about the selection after coming out of his morning workout, and had just called BA line coach Jason Mathews about working on pass sets with him at BA.

"My dad beeped in -- I then realized I had 7 missed calls from my dad," Shuler said. "I clicked over to my dad and he told me.

"This is such an incredible honor and I am humbled to be mentioned along with the other talented members of that first team, such as Jameis Winston and Aziz Shittu who are two of our (Stanford) top prospects."

A finalist for the Tennessee Titans TSSAAA Division II-AA Mr. Football Lineman award, Shuler also is playing in the Army All-American Bowl national all-star high school game next week in San Antonio. 

"This mention is incredibly humbling and another platform that God has provided for me to use for his glory," Shuler said. "I am incredibly thankful for this recognition, but at the end of the day I have to back it up at the Army All-American Game."
