RHS Varsity soccer wins Hendersonville tourney

This weekend the Ravenwood High School varsity boys’ soccer team won the Hendersonville Classic going undefeated for the second tournament this season.  Friday night the Raptors beat McMinn County 3-0.  John Bellenfant scored first on an assit from Wil Linder and then scored a second.  Linder scored the third goal on a penalty kick.

Saturday, Ravenwood went to defeat Father Ryan 3-0.  Bellenfant struck first scoring off an assist from Sam Stevenson.  Andrew Mason scored two goals off assists by Linder and Grant Lowder.

The Raptors third game was a tie with Knoxville Catholic 1-1 on Sunday.  Danny Lee scored the only goal off an assist from Brandon Saunders.

The RHS varsity is now 8-1-1 on the season heading into their home game on Thursday, April 22 against Centennial at 7 p.m.  The junior varsity will play at 5 p.m.
