Venkata Amarthaluru has been named as a 2011 Regional Scholar for the Coca-Cola Foundation Scholars Program. Venkata will receive a renewable $2500 award that can be used at any accredited United States college or university. This is the 23rd year Coca-Cola has honored high-achieving students. The Foundation provides scholarships totaling over $3.4 million dollars to approximately 1400 students every year. The selection of scholars is quite rigorous and intensive.
