The Ravenwood High School varsity boys lacrosse team defeated Ensworth High School on Tuesday, March 23.  It was a team effort as the Raptors closed with a score of 19-2.

Alex Baird had three goals and five assists.  Harry Taylor had four goals and four assists and Corbin Pefanis had six goals and one assist.  

Defensemen CJ Shane and Drew Hawken each had two takeaways and three ground balls.  The Raptors next match will be against a team from Libertyville, IL this Saturday at 10 a.m. at Crockett Park.  

The RHS varsity girls’ lacrosse team had a 19-2 win over Father Ryan Tuesday night.  Eight of the 19 goals were scored by Katie Ezell with five goals and Madeline Schnuck with three.

Erica Tsai, Jordan Casady, Rachel Vecchi, Kathleen Craig each had two goals, and Maureen Gleason and Monet Torino both with one.

The RHS girls’ JV team also beat Father Ryan to bring their record to 2 - 0. 

Ravenwood’s JV boys lacrosse team also played Ensworth at Crockett Park Tuesday night for a 13-2 victory. On defense were Ben Doster, Nathan Traczewski, Connor Roseberry, Brandon Wen, and Alex White.

The offense was lead by Robbie Betchley, Tommy Miller, John Michael Sisk, and Kerry Eshleman.  The JV is now 4-0.
