Register for Jan. 7, 14 pickup online Brentwood Home Page news reports Ravenwood Marching Band members were busy over the weekend picking up Christmas trees at homes across the city, Nolensville and northern Williamson County.
The Ravenwood High School Marching Band students will happily come by your house and pick up your Christmas tree from the curb. The band would appreciate a small donation for this service, with a recommend donation of at least $10.
The band’s annual fundraiser continues this Saturday, Jan. 7, and again on Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon both days. All donations help support the band program. All funds raised help offset the cost of new instruments and supplies to help the band compete at Bands of America events across the country.
To sign up just go to www.ravenwoodband.com and click on the Christmas tree. The service is being offered in return for a donation to the band boosters to help offset the band’s travel and programming expenses.
