Brentwood Home Page news reports For the second year in a row, Brentwood-based Crye-Leike, Realtors’ co-founder and CEO Harold Crye has been named as one of the most influential real estate leaders by Inman News.
The Inman 100, an annual list of the 100 most influential people in real estate, recognizes those power brokers, thought leaders, experts and visionaries who influence the real estate industry with their words, actions, insights and innovations. The annual list of top real estate influencers showcases those individuals whose actions have helped change the real estate industry in the last year through their leadership, innovation, ingenuity, power and persistence.
“It is an honor to be recognized by your peers for your work in the industry,” Crye said. “This recognition really should go to the approximate 3,000 sales associates and our employees that work at Crye-Leike and make a difference with great customer service every day.”
Harold Crye co-founded Crye-Leike, Realtors in Memphis in 1977 with Dick Leike. The company quickly grew and continues to expand maintaining its position as the sixth-largest U.S. real estate brokerage based on 24,260 units sold in 2010, according to a ranking by real estate research firm Real Trends, and the company also ranked 13th in the nation for its $3.85 billion sales volume in 2010.
Crye has been honored with numerous awards during his career. Most recently in 2010, Crye was also named one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders by Inman News, in 2009 he was named Master Entrepreneur of the Year by the Society of Entrepreneurs, and in 2008 he was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
