Grove Franklin adds rentals to Gateway Village

Grove Franklin, the area’s newest rental development of luxury apartment homes and townhomes, will soon be completed, bringing with it the amenities and an ideal location sought by apartment seekers.

The development located in Gateway Village at the intersection of Moores Lane and Franklin Road offers one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes and townhomes.

“The first building will be completed at the end of May and the entire community will be completed by the end of August or early September,” said Jen Pence, community manager. The leasing office will open June 1.

Apartment homes range in size from 672-1,574 sq. ft. and range in price from $1,050 to $2,220 per month. Townhomes (2 and 3 bedrooms) range in size from 1,348-1619 sq. ft. and range in price from $1,895-$2,395 per month. The security deposit is $450 with an application and pet fee.

The community first broke ground in March 2011 with Chartwell Real Estate Partners and SWH Development (Schaedle, Worthington and Hyde) serving as developers, while RAM Partners, LLC is managing the property. There are 116 units completed in the first phase and about 20 percent of those have been pre-leased. The development includes 186 units in all, which will be completed in the fall. Shelley James, regional vice president of RAM Partners, LLC , said that they anticipate the rest of the development to be leased very quickly.

“Because of the developers and it being a part of The Grove properties, Grove Franklin is high-quality living with high end finishes typical of Franklin and Brentwood,” James said. “Townhomes are even available with two-car garages that you typically don’t find in rental housing.”

Real estate veterans reminisce as WCAR turns 50

Celebration Thursday night in new Brentwood HQ

After five decades of dedicated service, growth and progress, Williamson County Association of Realtors  celebrated its 50th anniversary May 10 at its Brentwood headquarters in Westgate Circle. (Click here for our Scene & Heard).

While there were the requisite cocktails, appetizers and dancing, the association also took time to reflect on accomplishments and appreciate those who helped to build its firm foundation.

BHP was able to track down a few of the association’s original members in order to gaze through the window of time to see how the real estate business has evolved over the years in its service to Williamson County.

A Franklin resident his whole life with over 50 years of experience in the real estate industry, WCAR pioneer John Green of John Green Realtors, LLC was one of the then-Franklin Board of Realtors’ six founders and served as the its first president, a position he later filled again.
