Brentwood Home Page news reports Ravenwood High School has appointed former college and professional coach Ken White as the Raptors' new boys soccer coach, athletic director Patrick Whitlock announced.
White is currently the regional technical director for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky. He has coached at the college level including at Louisville, Bowling Green, Colorado College and his alma mater, South Florida.
He also was head coach/general manager of the New Orleans Gamblers in the USL and coach/GM of the Colorado Springs Stampede.
“We are very excited to add Ken to our staff. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be highly beneficial to our boys program.”
White holds a master's degree from the United State Sports Academy and has served as a color analyst for the Buckeye Cable Sports Network Television.
He replaces Clay Watson, who resigned last fall following a state tournament appearance by the Raptors girls soccer team. Watson left his job as an RHS teacher to join his family's printing business.
