Puffy Muffin owner Lynda Stone, whose restaurant celebrates its 25th anniversary next month, will be the featured speaker for the Cool Springs Chamber's women's leadership lunch Sept. 20.

Here are upcoming September events at the Cool Springs Chamber.

Cool Springs Chamber Membership Breakfast, Tuesday, Sept. 13, 7:30 a.m.-9 a.m. at Durego Events:  Guest speaker is Dr. Wright Pinson, M.B.A., M.D., the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Health Affairs at Vanderbilt University. He will discuss Medical Service Plans for Williamson County.  Breakfast sponsor is Gracepoint Healthcare.

Women's Leadership Network Lunch, Tuesday, Sept. 20, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Boxwood Bistro:  Guest speaker is Lynda Stone, owner of the Puffy Muffin. Her restaurant and Dessert Bakery is celebrating its 25th Year Anniversary in October.  Stone is the author of the cookbook Memories in the Making  and she is a Black Belt in Wado Karate. She will talk about the culture and success of her business. Sponsor is Vanderbilt Health  (reservations are encouraged).

The second half of September will offer up a Young Professionals Lunch & Learn and the popular Business Leads Exchange.
