| Police announce road closings for Rotary race |

Brentwood Home Page news reports Brentwood Police will be closing roads beginning at 7:50 a.m. Saturday around Brentwood High School, McGavock Farms and Maryland Farms for the Run for the Rotary.
The 5K, 10K and fun runs should be over and road opened again around 10 a.m. The 10K race starts at 8 a.m. and the 5K race begins about 8:20 a.m.
Roadways affected are:
• Murray Lane
• Good Springs Road
• McGavock Road
• Granny White Pike
• Virginia Way
• Maryland Way and Ward Circle
During the race, roads in the McGavock Farms subdivision will be closed to traffic. One westbound lane of Murray Lane will be closed during the event.
Additionally, all northbound traffic on Granny White Pike will be diverted to the center turn lane, and Virginia Way will be closed to traffic while runners are on the course. Traffic on Ward Circle will be diverted to the appropriate lane to bypass runners, and one eastbound lane on Maryland Way will be closed to traffic while runners are on the course.
