RHS benefit home tour now in 7th year

If you love seeing how other people decorate their homes for Christmas, Ravenwood High School is giving you just that opportunity this weekend.
 The 7th annual Holiday Home Tour sponsored by the RHS freshman class is a tradition that began with the class of 2004. This year’s tour is 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the first stop of the tour, 1827 Grey Pointe Drive in Inglehame Farms off Wilson Pike. From there, tour guests will receive directions to the other three homes, which can be visited in any order.
This is the second year that parent Angel Huelsmann has opened her home up for the tour. The home showcases an entire set of Precious Moments “Sugar Town” Collection. Each year Huelsmann’s mother-in-law gives her a Precious Moment ornament for the Christmas tree; even their Nativity set is made by Precious Moments.
Another tradition is for the Huelsmann family is to cut down their own Christmas tree. This year the tree was brought back with the family from Illinois.
Two other tour homes are located in Inglehame Farms, while the fourth is in the Governor’s Club off Concord Road.
