Early holiday present those who use busy road By SUSAN LEATHERS Brentwood Home Page A smooth ride is in the works on Holly Tree Gap Road between Franklin Road and North Berry’s Chapel Road.
The Williamson County Highway Department late last week began the repaving project and, weather permitting, hopes to have it complete by the end of this week.
The road was closed for several days in October so three cross drains that run under the road.could be replaced prior to the repaving.
“We’ve got to get this road finished,” the highway department’s Art Hancock said. “We’re shooting for this week, rain permitting.”
One of the area’s most scenic roads, Holly Tree Gap Road is also a popular route for residents and commuters who live in west Brentwood to get to Cool Springs, Franklin and I-65 at Moores Lane.
