Updated to correct City of Brentwood holiday date Brentwood Home Page news reports With New Year's falling on a Sunday this year, most people will get an extra day to recuperate from their New Year's Eve celebrations as Monday is recognized as the official holiday. Here's our roundup of holiday closings so you can plan ahead:
The Brentwood Home Page office will be closed Monday.
The City of Brentwood will be closed on Monday. The regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting will be held Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m.
The Brentwood Library will closed on Sunday.
Williamson County Schools’ remain closed. Classes resume for students next Thursday, Jan. 5.
All Williamson County Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed at their regularly scheduled time or by 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31 and will remain closed on Sunday and Monday. All facilities will reopen at their regularly scheduled times on Tuesday.
State of Tennessee offices, including the Department of Motor Vehicles, will be closed Monday. The federal holiday, which includes banks and the post office, will be observed on Monday Brentwood's Brooks Chapel Road Post Office will observe holiday hours on Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, but is closed Monday.
The FiftyForward Martin Center will be closed Monday.
The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) will not operate its regional bus routes on Monday. The RTA administrative office will be closed.
