The city’s police department is about to get seven new 2012 Dodge Chargers and one unmarked patrol car after winning approval from the Brentwood City Commission.

The commission also voted unanimously to limit applications for any of the city’s volunteer boards to one person per household.

In other business, City Attorney Roger Horner updated the board on the “Corky’s billboard” that recently was transitioned to a digital sign and the Williamson County Election Commission’s lawsuit against city leaders that was rescinded last week.

Incumbents Arlene Cook and Rachel Waterhouse and newcomer Hollie Cummings were elected to serve on the city’s Historic Commission.

Brentwood Home Page will be following up on several of these actions and announcements please check back for additional coverage.
