Nelson "Glen" Stirsman, age 73, passed away December 7, 2011 in Brentwood, Tenn. He is predeceased by his parents, Willie G. Stirsman and Mildred Whitaker Stirsman. Mr. Stirsman is survived by his wife, Betty Stirsman of Brentwood; daughters Amy Sheehan (Dan) of Brentwood and Heather Goetz (Brian) of Ballwin, Mo., and six granddaughters.

He was owner and operator of Custom Lawn Care for 20 years. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, in Baskin Chapel at Brentwood Baptist Church with visitation held the hour before the service. Interment to follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin.
