The Ravenwood High School National Honor Society is sponsoring a “sock-it-to-me” activity through the rest of this week. NHS is gathering socks and underwear for children in Nashville’s inner city Head Start program.
Their goal is to provide a pair of socks and underwear for at least one hundred children. These children are often the poorest of the poor and their parents are least able to provide for them.
RHS students can bring new children's underwear, sizes 4 to 6 and children's socks size 12 to the RHS library.
For students who don’t have time to shop, we are accepting donation of $5.  However, loose pocket change will also be accepted.
Anyone outside the RHS family who would like to make a donation may leave it at the RHS front office at 1724 Wilson Pike, Brentwood.
