Author JT Ellison to speak Jan. 26

Local mystery and crime fiction author JT Ellison will help kick off the New Neighbors League Club’s new year on Jan. 26. The best-selling author wil speak at the club’s monthly luncheon, held at Brentwood Country Club, 5123 Country Club Dr.

New Neighbors League Club is an organization that helps women new to the Nashville area to find fun and friendship. Members have relocated here from all parts of the world. “Trying to assimilate into a new environment can be difficult which is why this club is a lifeline to many new residents of the area,” said Olivia Bergh, club director.

“We offer a get together coffee each month for prospective members to learn more about our Club and we also have a monthly luncheon which includes a guest speaker,” she added.

The Jan. 26 meeting begins at 10:30 am. The $24 cost includes lunch and gratuity. A cash bar is available.
