Detectives' early a.m. traffic stop leads to arrest Brentwood Home Page news reports As a result of a 3 a.m. traffic stop on Monday, Sept. 5, Brentwood Police detectives have made an arrest for multiple offenses in the Raintree Forest subdivision late Sunday night and early Monday morning.
The detectives had been conducting surveillance in southern Brentwood as part of a burglary investigation in the area. They set up a traffic stop on Edmondson Pike near Old Hickory Boulevard.
Following an investigation, Daniel Vallejo, 36, of 411 Valley Drive, Dickson, was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated burglary, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft over $1,000, two counts theft over $500 and theft under $500.
Vallejo is currently being held at the Williamson County Criminal Justice Center on a $90,000 bond. This case remains under investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming.
