Over 3000 VHS tapes included in Oct. 20-22 event Brentwood Home Page news reports Movie lovers who still have VCRs should mark Oct 20-22 on their calendars, as the Friends of the Brentwood Library will have over 3,000 VHS tapes for sale at bargain prices when its quarterly book sale returns to the Concord Road library.
The library has replaced its VHS collection with DVDs and has donated all of the tapes to the sale. In addition, the sale will feature a huge variety of hardback and paperback books, DVDs, books on tapes, children's books and puzzles.
As much as the Friends organization loves to sell books, it also loves to receive donations of them for future sales and its ongoing online sales through Amazon. Donations may be taken to the Circulation Desk at the library during regular hours. Deliveries of large donations can be arranged by calling the Circulation Desk at 371-0090. Receipts for tax purposes will be given if requested.
This month's sale hours are 11 am-7pm Thursday, Oct. 20; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and 10 a.m. to 5pm Saturday, Oct. 22. Proceeds benefit the Brentwood Library and the library’s summer reading program.
