  This first week has been awesome!!! I have never felt more confident and determined to exercise and eat right. A year ago, I began my quest to get in shape. Through the advice of a friend, I started using an app that would train me to run a 5k in about 9 weeks. Through this, I ran my 1st 5k at the end of May last year. My addiction to running began and still continues to this day. I still felt that I was missing something. As a new mom of 2 month old preemie twins, some might think its crazy (or impossible) to add a 12-week health challenge to hourly feedings, doctor appointments, lack of sleep, and a full time job.            For the longest time, I have had an affinity for fall. Its breathtaking landscaping hued in reds, golds, browns and hints of green remain always in my mind. The air scented with apples, pumpkins, cinnamon, and freshly baked fare calm any nerves I may entertain.  Winter isn’t far behind the glory held in fall.     Imagine if you will a man in his 60th year. Normally considered sane but a bit bent he agrees to take on the “Be Healthy Challenge”, a 12 week program that includes medical, dietary, and personal exercise instruction.
