Ashley King, a senior tennis player has dreams of being the next Erin Andrews of the sports journalism world.
"I absolutely love all sports.ESPN's SportCenter is my favorite thing to watch, I could have it on 24/7!"
For now Ashley is the co-captain of the Ravenwood tennis team where she has had a winning record in doubles since her Freshman year."This could really be our year to win state. We have to get past Brentwood and whoever wins state could come down to a single match."In their first two matches, Ravenwood has not lost a single match.
Ashley plays tennis year round at Wildwood and credits the coaches there for her improvement.
"Andy, Kurt, Kevin and Tony have made me a better tennis player than I ever imagined I could be.Nothing makes me happier than stepping on the court, and I know I will be able to play this sport for the rest of my life."
Ashley's weapons on the court are her forehand approach and return of serve.
Another passion of Ashley's is Habitat for Humanity. She has already participated on four home builds in three years, and is using that knowledge towards her major in college, Construction Science and Management. She has already been accepted into Clemson and looks forward to playing intramural tennisand sorority life. She's also going to toss in a few sports journalism classes in case construction doesn't appeal.

"It's worth the drive to take lessons from Tim Caldwell. He is constantly fine tuning every little thing about my game.I started up with Tim two years ago, and I never thought I could play as well as I am now. "
Kevin will be attending the Vanderbilt School of Engineering in the Fall and hopes to receive a degree in mechanical, chemical, or biomedical engineering. He is awaiting responses to academic scholarships, but is confident his GPA, a 4.4 and top 10 in his class standing will make the difference. He is also a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and is an Eagle Scout.

Ryan Shelton The catcher of the BrentwoodHigh Baseball Team, senior Ryan Shelton, has some strange habits and rituals his team mates might want to know.First, he licks the grip of the bat before hitting.Second, he mimics anything he did his previous time at bat if he was successful, even if it means licking the bat three times.
Ryan also has the phrase "The End Justifies the Means" written in his hat, and lives by that motto for his team's success.
Ryan has signed to play baseball at Walters State College in MorristownTennessee on a four year scholarship. In 2009, he broke the BHS single season homerun record with 13 runs. The previous record was nine.
In his junior year, Ryan also made the All-District, Mid-State, and All-State teams. With the season just starting, Ryan is one of the team's captains and is 2 - 4 with a homerun and has a double with 2 RBI's.
Mike Allen has been Ryan's travel team coach for the Nashville Yankees since he was 12 years old.Ryan also has three brothers who play; Thomas - 19 who is a catcher at the University of Illinois, Cody - 15, and Tyler - 10.His parents Tom and Lisa are able to spend most of their time in the bleachers cheering, since Tom retired as a New York City Firefighter.
One of Ryan's most fulfilling high school experiences is being involved with the Care Bears program, which connects the main stream and special needs students. He states, "We recently had a kickball tournament with the other schools, and that was one of the most special days of my life."
