Jordan Breece Freshman / Diving
Jordan Breece, a freshman at Brentwood High School, is a member of the diving team and also competes at the AAU level in diving.
Jordan’s favorite coach is Dr. Timothy Jones, his AAU coach. "His kindness and gentle nature have taught me not only to dive but the love of the sport.”
Although college is four years away, Jordan is thinking ahead toward a diving scholarship at a major university. He would like to study political science to enter politics and minor in music.
His parents are Paul and Aimee Breece.
A fun fact about Jordan: “I have auditioned and been selected to participate in the Middle Tennessee Vocal Association Honor Choir for 7th and 8th grades and in the Middle Tennessee Freshman Honors Choir this year.”

Heidi Alexander Freshman / Diving, cheerleading
Heidi Alexander, a freshman at Brentwood High School, is a member of the diving team. In addition, Heidi is one of the captains for the JV cheer squad.
Crediting her diving coach with supporting her throughout everything she has done, Heidi loves diving and this is her fourth year competing.
Although Heidi does plan to attend college when she finishes high school, right now she is not sure where she wants to go or what she wants to study.
Her parents are Troy and Amy Alexander.

Jared Facer Senior / Rugby, football
Jared Facer, a senior at Ravenwood High School, plays rugby for his school in addition to playing on the Raptor football team. Jared also loves wakeboarding; is in Boy Scouts, National Honor Society, FMP, Mu Alpha Theta and National merit; and attends youth group.
“Coach Eddie Buckner led our team to the state championship," Jared said. "He pushed us hard in practice and made sure we had fun playing the sport. Coach always has something positive to say.”
Looking ahead to college, Jared would like to attend BYU and play rugby at the collegiate level. Although undecided about his career, he has thought about business or the medical field.
His parents are Kim and Christie Facer.
A fun fact about Jared: “I just came back from a family vacation to Peru.” Seems Dad was a missionary for two years in Peru and wanted his family to see where he had served.

Ashley Smith Senior / Rugby
Ashley Smith, a senior rugby player at Ravenwood High School, credits her success with great coaching.
“Coach Boone is responsible for all my success. He has taught me everything I know about rugby," Ashley said. "He has given me opportunities to learn the game, and he puts everything he can into his players. Even outside of the sport, Coach Boone is available and always supportive to his players.”
Ashley plans to attend the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and study nursing.
Her parents are Mark and Jennifer Smith.
A fun fact about Ashley: “People yell ‘Flame on’ when I have the ball during the game.”

Elliott Abell Freshman / Bowling, baseball
Brentwood Academy freshman Elliott Abell is nominated for being a member of the bowling team and is also on the baseball team at BA.
“I usually play baseball but this year I decided to try something different, so now I am on the bowling team,” Elliott said.
Elliott has enjoyed becoming competitive with his new sport and likes practicing at Tusculum Lanes.
His favorite coach is “Coach Good. He is the new middle school baseball coach and I work out with him for baseball.”
Looking ahead, Elliott sees himself attending Auburn for college.
His parents are Sam and Carol Abell.

Margaret Phillips Junior / Swimming
BA junior Margaret Phillips is a member of the swim team. Competing in the 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley, Margaret has competed in the state meets.
Her favorite coach is Amy Pierson, her summer league coach. “She has always encouraged and supported me no matter what, keeping me motivated,” Phillips said.
Margaret is looking at colleges outside of the Nashville area and would like to major in marine biology or environmental science.
Her parents are Cameron and Nathan Phillips.
A fun fact about Margaret: “I love yoga and think it helps me with my swimming.” In addition, Margaret plays the piano for enjoyment.
