| Literacy Council has books for all at book fair |

Brentwood Home Page news reports Just in time for Mother’s Day, the Literacy Council of Williamson County will host a book fair, offering titles for readers of all ages and reading preferences. The Council will open its doors on Friday, May 6 from 10 am to 2 pm and on Saturday, May 7 from 10 am to 2 pm at 129 West Fowlkes Street, Room 115, in Franklin, behind the Carter House. The books will represent dozens of genres. While the individual books are not priced, the Council encourages and accepts donations.
The Literacy Council of Williamson County, through its free educational programs, has enriched and transformed the lives of adults in Williamson County. The Council provides a variety of no-cost services including: teaching individuals to read or improve their reading skills; tutoring students who are learning English as a Second Language ESL; tutoring students preparing for the GED; funding GED testing for those in financial need; supplying reading materials to Williamson County service members overseas; conducting book clubs for senior adults.
