The Lady Raptors captured the District 11-AAA volleyball tournament Thursday night, beating defending state champion Independence (25-20; 25-21 and 25-11) in the championship match. Earlier Thursday, Ravenwood beat Centennial (25-20; 25-14; 22-25; 25-19). Lady Eagles of IHS beat the Lady Bruins of Brentwood (17-25; 25-12; 25-21; 19-25;15-11).
