Brentwood Home Page news reports
Ravenwood High School and Riverdale High School girls soccer teams played on a rainy Tuesday night in Murfreesboro.  The first 21 minutes of the half were scoreless.  With 19 minutes left in the first half, Emma Rose fired a left footed shot in to  the net to take the lead 1-0.

The game was delayed for lightning and rain at halftime.

The Lady Raptors returned to the field and within 5 minutes, Jordan Cassidy crossed ball and it was walked in by Shelby Todd.

With 15 ½ minutes left in the game, Rose’s corner kick was finished on Jordan Cassidy header.  Ten minutes later, Cassidy finished another goal from a lob by Haley Lemasters.

With one minute left, Todd made a very athletic play touching the ball and going head first over the Riverdale goalkeeper.  Rose finished the pass for the fifth and final goal, her second of the night.

The final score was 5-0.  The Lady Raptors next game is at Independence Thursday, September 9 at 7 p.m. and next week they take on Centennial on their home field.
