| Lady Raptors soccer advance to State Tourney |

Brentwood Home Page news reports Ravenwood’s Lady Raptors secured their place in the final eight to go to the girls state soccer tournament in Saturday night’s sectionals when they defeated Henry County at the RHS complex with a win 2-0.
In the first half, Becca Roberts was taken down in the box by Henry County. On the resulting penalty kick, senior Sarah Jenner put the ball in the net for the Lady Raptor's first goal. Again in the first half, sophomore Shelby Todd set one up for senior Jordan Casady who scored the second.
The Raptors were in constant pursuit and scored two more goals which were called back for off sides. Goalie Rose Hull had yet another

shutout.
Another score of interest from Saturday’s sectionals, Franklin High School’s Lady Rebels defeated Station Camp High School 4-0.
The Raptors will play their first state tournament match against Bearden High School from Knoxville. The match is in Chattanooga at the Baylor School. Kickoff is at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
FHS will take on Murfreesboro Oakland also on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. EST.
